A Bit About Myself...

Hi, I’m Bianca, Your Baby Tour Guide. I’m so happy you’re here.

For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of learning alongside babies, young children, and the families who love them. I’m an Infant Development and Montessori educator, writer, fellow Montessori mama, and the founder of Baby Tour Guide.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Montessori Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Adolescent Development with a focus in Early Childhood Education, and an Associate Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Intercultural Communication. I’m also AMI Montessori certified from birth to age three through the Assistants to Infancy program.

But more than anything, I simply love babies.

I’m fascinated by how they grow, communicate, move, learn, and slowly reveal the little person they’ve been all along.

Over the years, I’ve worked in Montessori classrooms, taught parent-child classes, supported families, mentored educators, and studied child development through many different lenses. Montessori is at the heart of my work, but I’m also deeply inspired by the many thinkers and approaches that have helped us better understand children.

Around here, I believe in keeping things simple.

You don’t need a house full of beautiful wooden toys to support your baby’s development. Sometimes the most meaningful things are already right in front of you; your voice, your face, the floor, the outdoors, a kitchen spoon, and the space for your baby to try something all by themselves.

My hope is to help you understand the why behind your baby’s development, notice all the beautiful things already unfolding, and grow into your own confidence as a parent or educator.
